Fair Trade Mandala Batik Wall Hanging - Warm
Quantity in Cart: None
This wall hanging is truly a work of art. Each one is handmade through the lengthy process of layering wax & dye to create this one-of-a-kind breathy taking design. The fabric is a nice, medium weight cotton ~ quite substantial & sturdy. The design speaks for itself. A dynamic Mandela symbol as the center-most focal point exudes its union, balance & connection to all ends of the fabric. The four arrow like shapes are often interpreted as gates to the four corners of the earth. A slightly mottled dyed burgundy border frames the intricate work perfectly. The vivid colors melt together is a brilliant harmony. Each batik is handmade ~ please expect & enjoy the slight variations. Center this conversation piece on any wall where this sacred Sanskrit symbol can inspire your connection to the earth. This wall hanging measures approximately 37" by 43". There are 1" loops sewn into the seam on the top & bottom. You can simply tack this piece to a wall; but we suggest inserting a bamboo dowel or stick harvested from a fallen tree branch, into the ends for a beautiful display for hanging.
